Syawalan Faculty of Economics and Business

When the moon is full of blessings, grace and forgiveness have changed into a holy day. In this holiness the tradition of “syawalan” is an opportunity for us to silaturrahim, mutual forgiveness of all wrongs ever done, mutually strengthening the relationship of brotherhood on the basis of faith as affirmed in the Qur’an: “Indeed the believers are brothers because it is reconcile between your two brothers “ (Qs. Al Hujurat: 10).

Ahad (01/07)  The Faculty of Economics and Business holds a Syawalan activity located at Warung Konco nDeso. This event was attended by all the big family of economics and business faculty consisting of all lecturers and employees of study program of accounting, economics and management. activities beginning with the reading of Kalam Illahi and opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Rizal Yaya, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Ak., CA.

In this event there is also pengijajan delivered by Dr. Ahim Abdurahim, S.E., M.Si., SAS., Ak., CA. with the theme “Building an Abundant Person” where the effective person is the attitude and behavior shown proportionally in the context of relationships among people. An effective person must have proactive attitudes and behaviors, such as Responsibility, Initiative, Solutive. In addition, a proactive person will develop an abundant mental attitude to anyone.

Finally, the happiness that we feel at once in the moment of Idul Fitri celebration is a gift from Allah Swt that we are obliged to be grateful. “Say: By the grace of God and His mercy, let them be merry. His grace and mercy are better than what they gather. (QS. Yunus: 58).

FEB UMY
